Scope:Supply, fabrication, and installation of structural steel members including beams, columns, channels, angles, plates, trusses, bracings, and miscellaneous steel structures.
Material:Mild steel conforming to relevant IS/ASTM standards.
Sections & Plates:Hot-rolled or fabricated sections; plates and flats to IS:2062/ASTM A36; thickness as per design drawings.
Fabrication:Accurate cutting, welding, drilling, and grinding; tolerances in accordance with IS 7215 / IS800.
Welding:Electric arc welding (SMAW / MIG / TIG) with approved electrodes; preheating and post-weld treatment as required.
Surface Preparation:Remove mill scale, rust, and grease; grind smooth all sharp edges and weld spatter.
Surface Protection:Zinc-rich primer (minimum 40–50 microns) or hot-dip galvanization for outdoor exposure; painting as per project specification.
Connections & Fasteners:Bolted connections with high-tensile bolts, nuts and washers properly tightened; use lock nuts where required.
Erection & Alignment:Structures erected to specified tolerances; temporary bracing provided; plumb and level checked before final fixation.
Testing & Inspection:Visual inspection, dimensional check, weld inspection (NDT if specified), and load testing where applicable; all works comply with IS 800 / IS 816 / relevant international standards.
